Every calculator on ScoopCore follows the same discipline. This page explains exactly how our numbers are produced, so you never have to take a result on faith.
Sources first
Each tool is built from the primary source: UAE federal laws (such as Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 for employment matters), official regulators (MOHRE, RTA, ICP, GPSSA), free zone regulations (DIFC Employment Law, ADGM Employment Regulations) and published government fee schedules. The specific sources appear at the bottom of every calculator, and the relevant law article is named in the explainer.
Deterministic formulas, no black boxes
Our calculators are plain arithmetic – the same formula the law prescribes, coded once and tested against worked examples. Results show the calculation trail (daily wage, day counts, caps applied) so you can verify every step by hand. AI is never used to compute results.
Verified dates on everything
Every calculator carries a “Last verified” date – the day we last checked its rates and rules against the sources. All rates live in a single central file that we refresh every January and immediately when a regulator announces a change mid-year.
Privacy by design
Calculations run entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are never sent to our servers, never stored beyond your browsing session, and never shared. The only session feature is a convenience: if you enter your salary in one calculator, the next one pre-fills it – and that memory dies when you close the tab.
Our limits, stated plainly
Results are estimates for information. Contracts, company policies, unpaid leave, court judgments and regulatory changes can all move your real number. For decisions that matter, verify with the relevant authority – MOHRE (80060) for employment, or a licensed professional. Found an error? Tell us via the contact page and we will fix it and update the verified date.
