Maraska Maraschino, the renowned Croatian liqueur, has made a grand entrance into the UAE this March, introducing its distinctive flavors to Dubai’s vibrant cocktail scene. This marks a significant milestone for Maraska, a brand steeped in centuries-old tradition, now poised to captivate the discerning palates of the UAE.
An essential ingredient in world-famous cocktails, Maraska Maraschino is gaining popularity in modern interpretations of classic recipes. Slaven Macura, a prominent Dubai bartender of Croatian descent, remarked, “Maraska’s Maraschino fits perfectly into Dubai’s dynamic mixology scene, where new boundaries are constantly being pushed. This positions Maraschino as a ‘must-have’ ingredient for cocktails.”
The official launch with MMI at Soul Kitchen Dubai included a successful Masterclass and Maraschino Contest, attended by key F&B professionals. Today, leading establishments like La Mezcaleria JBR, Sienna Clubhouse, Emaar Hotels, One Za’abeel Hotel, St Regis The Palm, and The Meydan Hotel proudly serve this exquisite liqueur, renowned for its subtle aromatic flavors.
Next, Maraska Maraschino will debut in Abu Dhabi in collaboration with Spinneys. Join us at Al Hanah Bar, Shangri-La Abu Dhabi, on June 25 for an exclusive launch event featuring a Masterclass and Maraska Maraschino Contest. Bartenders from Shangri-La, Hakkasan, and Penelope’s Bar will showcase their unique twist on the “Maraschino Kiss” – Spritz cocktail. Guests can enjoy complimentary drinks and special pricing on cocktails. The event begins at 8 PM.
Continuing the festivities, Maraska Maraschino will host a “Cherry Harvest” event on July 1 at Agora Cocktail Bar & Social Club in The Edition hotel, Dubai. This special occasion will celebrate the cherry harvest from Maraska’s plantation, the largest Marasca cherry plantation globally. Bartenders from Agora, F.R.N.D.S, and Salmon Guru will craft unique cocktails using Maraska Maraschino and cherries. Guests can enjoy a complimentary cocktail and special pricing on their choice of cocktails. Festivities start at 8 PM.
